SRI VENKATESWARA UNIVERSITY
Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) was established in 1954 in Tirupati to cater to the educational needs and aspirations of
the Rayalaseema region in Andhra Pradesh. With 70 years of excellence in teaching, research, extension, and outreach
activities, the University offers a comprehensive range of postgraduate programs across diverse disciplines, including Arts,
Sciences, Law, Management, Education, Physical Education, Engineering, and Pharmacy.
From a humble beginning with one college and six departments, SVU has grown into the second-largest university in Andhra
Pradesh, comprising five constituent colleges:

The University currently accommodates 52 departments offering 88 academic programs.

- Sri Venkateswara University (SVU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Technology
Companies Association of Andhra Pradesh (TCOAP), a non-commercial and non-profit organization. TCOAP is
committed to advancing the technology sector in Andhra Pradesh by leveraging the state’s IT, ITEC, and electronics
industry capabilities to boost both regional and global competitiveness.
This collaboration aligns with SVU's strategy to bridge academia and industry, fostering innovation, skill development,
and research excellence. The partnership will focus on driving growth in the technology sector, generating
employment, and enhancing infrastructure, exports, and private sector investments. With the strong potential of
IT/ITES skills and robust state policies, this MoU will enable SVU and TCOAP to make significant contributions to the

In response to the growing demand for specialized skills in emerging fields, SVU has launched industry-integrated
programs such as the MS in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence, in collaboration with
Exafluence, USA. These programs equip students with expertise in high-demand areas, bridging the gap between
